Vicki Ann Howes

Vicki A. Howes, 65, of Monmouth, passed away peacefully at 4:24 A.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in her home, with her beloved daughter by her side.

She was born September 11, 1948 at Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Winfield Scott and Kathleen Jean (Clark) White. She was raised and educated in Monmouth and Antioch, IL and graduated from Antioch High School in 1966.

She was an Adult Care Specialist at Warren Achievement in Monmouth. Vicki loved her job and was devoted to taking care of people. Her passion was for music, mostly "oldies" and she had over a million songs saved to CD's and on her computer. She was the Moderator on several music sharing websites and spent most of her free time gladly sharing songs with anyone who wanted them. She adored all animals, especially dogs.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Erica (Joe) Parent of Trevor, Wisconsin, her son, Jason (Jen) Howes of Crystal Lake, IL, grandchildren, Cassidy Parent, Logan and Daxon Howes, two brothers, Ron (Debbie) White of Minnesota and David (Janet) White of Wildwood, IL, along with nieces, nephews, many friends, online friends, and her puppy, Baron III.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.
