Velma G. Brown

Velma G. Brown, 94 of Galesburg, IL passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015, 11:47 am at OSF St. Mary's Medical Center Galesburg, IL. She was born Sunday October 23, 1921 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of George and Mabel (Johnson) Reeser. She married Elmer W. Brown on May 21, 1950 at the Presbyterian Church in Alexis, IL. He preceded her on March 27, 2009.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Velma did secretarial work before she was married. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening and reading. She was a member of the Alexis United Presbyterian Church and the Henderson Senior Citizens Group

Funeral Service will be Monday November 9, 2015, 11:00 am at the Alexis United Presbyterian Church Alexis, IL with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the Alexis Cemetery.
