Tom E. Singleton

Tom E. Singleton, 74, of Prairie City, IL passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 8:05a.m. at his home.  He was born Sunday, June 16, 1946 in Greenbush, IL the son of Cleo and Bessie (Woods) Singleton.  He married Barbara E. Lockwood on April 19, 1980 in Bushnell, IL; she preceded his in death on May 8, 2015.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Robert Lockwood of Prairie City, Tina Brown of Bushnell, and Kathy Singleton of Prairie City; 4 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter; one sister Lola Gillett; several adopted children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 8 brothers.

Tom served in the US Airforce.  He had a great love for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren both biological and adopted.  He worked over 30 years at NTN Bower in Macomb.  He loved to hunt, fish and garden.
