Teresa Mae (Huffman) Yeakey

Teresa Mae (Huffman) Yeakey, 64, of Raritan, IL passed away Thursday January 25, 2018, 12:16 a.m. at the Great River Medical Center Burlington, IA.  She was born Friday January 8, 1954 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Delmar Grant and Doris Mae (Steward) Huffman.  She married Rodney Yeakey on July 21, 2001.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of Raritan, IL; children Amy (Chris) Barber of Stronghurst, IL, Kathleen Thomas of Florida, Gena (Troy) Parsons of Wapello, IA, Alicia (Matthew) Siefken of Mediapolis, IA, and Jeremy Yeakey of Peoria, IL; grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas, Zander, Zoey, Grant, Sophia, and Lydia; siblings Diane (Doran) DeBold of Blandinsville, IL, Mary Kae (Herb) Sandidge of Florida, and Jerry (Kristi) Huffman of Burlington, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother (Joe), 1 sister (Belinda), 1 daughter (Trisha).

She owned and operated Thomas Trend in Roseville for over 30 years.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday January 29, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at the wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL.  Visitation will be Sunday January 28, 2018, 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL.  Burial will be in the Raritan Cemetery Raritan, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Teresa Yeakey Memorial Fund.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.
