Taylie Brooke Michelle Wilcox

Taylie Brooke Michelle Wilcox daughter of Terin (Matern) and Tristan Wilcox of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away on September 8, 2026. She was born September 5, 2026, in Galesburg at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Terin and Tristan; grandparents, Cassandra and Timothy Wilcox of Roseville, Illinois and Rexanna Munson of Monmouth, Illinois; great-grandparents, Debora (Russ) Thomson of Moncks Corner, South Carolina and Linda (Everett) Ferris of Bushnell, Illinois; siblings, Wade Matern and Miles Wilcox both at home; uncles, Tyler (Rosy) Matern of Monmouth, Cody Wilcox of Roseville; aunts, Michaela Cobb of Guntown, Mississippi, and Morgan Vail of Monmouth.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, Bob “Digger” and Kay Herron.

In her short time on Earth, Taylie taught her parents how to live in the moment and to not stress about the little things. She made a huge impact on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially her big brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish an education fund for Wade and Miles. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
