Scotty Frederick Goodell

Scotty “Pork” Frederick Goodell, 77, of Grubville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. He was born July 22, 1948, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Harry and Opal (Mecum) Goodell.

Pork married Linda “Diane” Rader on August 12, 1972, at the Sunbeam United Presbyterian Church in Aledo, Illinois.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joseph (Alexandra) Goodell of Missouri; Josiah, Cecily and Mollie Goodell; Scotty Goodell; Merissa Lambert, Michael, Christopher Goodell; sister Zelpha “Cricket” Orr and Kody and Kaleb Parkins, sons of Cindy Van Hoozen.

He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Goodell, daughter, Cindy Van Hoozen, son-in-law, Chris Van Hoozen, Mother Opal Goodell, father Harry Goodell, brother Frankie Goodell.

Pork was a long-term farm hand in the area for Sprout’s and Corzatt farms until he was unable to work in 1996. Pork enjoyed fishing, hunting, shopping for deals at yard sales, camping and working on cars/trucks. His greatest joy was spending time with his grand kids and family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the funeral home. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. to prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be left to the wishes of the family and left in the care of the funeral home. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
