Sandra K. (Strong) Mackey

Sandra K. Mackey, 73, of Monmouth, IL passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, 2:25 p.m. at Kindred Hospital, Peoria, IL.  She was born Friday, April 11, 1947 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Emil A. and Myrtle R. (Ross) Strong.

Those left to cherish her memory are brothers, Gerald E. Strong, and Dennis (Bonnie) Strong; her sons, Rick (Dianna) Mayes, Mike (Karrie) Mackey, Sam (Marta) Mackey; daughter, Wendy (Ronnie) Williams; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister (Edith), Brother (Danny), Husband (Lester).

Sandra was a homemaker for many years.  She was a CNA for the LaMoine Christian Nursing Home.  She was also a home health worker.  Sandra owned and operated the Trading Post Antique store in Monmouth.
