Pauline Louise King, 84, of Alexis, died 6:11 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg.
She was born May 6, 1927 at Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Marie Anna (Meyer) Anthony. She was raised and educated in Davenport, IA, where she graduated from High School.
She first was married to Robert Sullivan. She married Dean King and he preceded her in death in March 2008.
She had worked at a nursing home in Morton, IL for many years until retiring. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Her family includes three daughters, Fern (Larry) Bridges of Alexis, Carolyn Sullivan Creek of Rock Island and Patricia Lee of Alexis, one son, Robert Sullivan of Rio, 6 step-children, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one sister, Ida Mae Jergens of Davenport along with two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dean, granddaughter, Catherine Creek and brother, Clarence Anthony.
