Nancy Ann (Springer) Sparrow, 81, of Macomb, IL formerly of Lake Warren, IL. passed away Thursday October 26, 2017 in her home. She was born Sunday October 27, 1935 in Hannibal, MO the daughter of John and Mabel (Pittman) Springer.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Kim Sparrow of Macomb, IL; two daughters: Kaye Thompson of Macomb, IL, and Lori Frakes of Macomb, IL; 6 grandchildren Janette Otto, Mitch Thompson, Becky Swift, Jamie Raymond, Bonnie Hargis, and Sidney James; 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, longtime companion Claerence Meling, 1 brother (James Springer), 4 half-sisters, 2 half-brothers, and 2 beloved cats Sampson and Delilah.
She was a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, music and also birdwatching. She loved visiting FL. and walking the beach and collecting seashells. She was a member of the D.A.R. She loved her grandchildren making every occasion extra special.
