Nancy Lee Blasius

Nancy Lee "Leapy" Blasius, 68, of Kirkwood, IL passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, 11:10 p.m. at the Great River Medical Center in Burlington, IA. She was born Saturday, July 3, 1948, in Lake County, IL the daughter of Frank Ira and Betty (Neal) Hill. She married Joseph A. Blasius on July 25, 1969, in Chicago, he preceded her in death on March 12, 2010.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons Thomas Lee Blasius, Robert Joseph Blasius and Brian James Blasius and 2 grandchildren John and Ian. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother.
Nancy was an artist and enjoyed sewing, swimming, camping and antiquing, she excelled at everything she tried. Nancy was very inquisitive, outgoing, loving, nurturing, and a natural teacher. Being worldly wise she was always a profound source of wisdom. She was an excellent cook, wife, mother and friend; she enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
