Mary Kathryn Fox, 80, North Henderson, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. She was born Oct. 30, 1933, in Monmouth, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Shunick) Stull. She married William (Bill) Fox on Jan. 19, 1956, at St. John's Catholic Church in Woodhull. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Fox; two daughters, Theresa Fox-Allen of Galesburg and Deborah (Brian) Dillbeck of Alexis; two sons, Richard (Tina) Fox of Alexis and Mike (Kelly) Fox of North Henderson; three sisters, Betty Bruns of Alexis, Jane (Bill) Burgland of Galesburg, and Martha Baker of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Willard (Ruth) Stull of Alexis and Gene (Judy) Stull of Galesburg; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Francis Stull. She worked for Galesburg Research Mental Health Center and Cottage Hospital as a registered nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church of Alexis. She was the center of her family. She was a wonderful caregiver, not a day went by without a card being sent out for birthdays, anniversaries, get wells or just because she wanted. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Alexis. Monsignor Tom Mack will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at the church, and the rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in North Henderson. Memorials may be made to the Alexis-North Henderson Ambulance and Fire Protection. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Alexis, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at hooverhall.com.
