She and her husband worked as tour guides for Payless Tours out of Danville, IL from February 1998 through December 2013. Marjorie was a member of the First Christian Church in Galesburg where she served on a special committee, before she and her husband Wendell moved, to Burlington and joined the First Christian Church there. Although Marjorie seldom sought to be the leader of an event or activity involving our family, she was there giving positive suggestions and helping with what needed to be done. She dearly loved her family, spending time with everyone and especially going to Adventureland with the family on Labor Day weekend since 1983. She enjoyed Christmas activities and playing games. Marjorie was not a critical person and was always praising and supportive of all of us, whether it be work or play. She will be extremely missed.
