Mabel J Boone

Mabel Jane Boone (Gittings) 95 passed away Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, at Marigold Nursing Home of Galesburg, IL. She was born November 5th, 1925, to Dorothy and Cecil Gittings.

Jane married Donald Franklin Boone April 8th, 1944, in Monmouth, IL. Jane and Donald had five children: Thresa (John) Coursey of Kentucky, Donna Hagy of Galesburg, Thrina Gaskill of Monmouth, Vanessa Joan Bennett of Monmouth, Steven Boone of Wataga. They have 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband Donald, two daughters; Thrina Gaskill and Donna Hagy, two grandsons; Tyler Gaskill and Ryan Bennett, five sisters; Carol Sharp, Bonnie Scott, Estelyn Johnson, Nedra Mason, infant baby.

Jane has three living brothers: Bob Gittings, Perry Gittings, Edward Gittings.

Jane Worked 20 years for Wilson foods.
