Linda Evelyn Crandall, 68, of Avon, IL passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, 2:00 a.m. at her home. She was born Thursday July 21, 1949, in Chicago, IL the daughter of Robert and Bernice (Rosentreter) Loss. She married Denver Crandall on November 22, 1969.
She is survived by her husband Denver of Avon, IL; two daughters: Christina Crandall of Peotone, IL and Deborah Brown of Riverton, IL; one son Jacob Crandall of Glenpool, OK; 4 grandchildren: Joshua, Evelyn, and Ruth Brown and Elijah Crandall; three siblings Robert Loss, Janet Loss, and Evelyn Loss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son (Denver Lawrence Joshua Crandall).
Linda spent her childhood in Alaska living on the family homestead near the Kenai River and later Anchorage. She often spoke of her experiences and enjoyment and proud of her Alaskan heritage. Then moving with family to Wood Dale, Illinois, where she graduated from Addison Trail High School. She went to Western Illinois University where she met her husband, Denver Crandall, of 48 years. She lived in Avon, Illinois, where she raised her family until her death. She was full of love and faith for her family, friends, and God.
Graveside service will be Saturday, June 30, 2018, 9:00 a.m. at the Avon Cemetery Avon, IL. Memorials may be made to the Abingdon Public Library and or the Avon Fire Department.
