Lelianne Elizabeth Cutler, a beloved member of the Avon community, passed away peacefully at 7:08 p.m. on August 30, 2023, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 18, 1954, in Avon, IL, to Muriel (Newman) and Lewis Cutler.
Lee dedicated her life to the healthcare industry, working diligently at the Rosewood Care Center until her well-deserved retirement. Highly regarded by her colleagues and patients alike, she left an indelible mark on the lives she touched throughout her career. Lee's unwavering care and compassion will always be remembered.
Lee was a woman of strength and resilience. She faced life's challenges with grace and determination. Her daughter, Kendra (Brandon) Johnson, was the center of her world and brought immense joy to herlife. She was a loving Nana to her grandchildren, Stephoen Chambers and Jocelyn Johnson. Lee's sister, Melissa Cutler, stood by her side as a pillar of support, sharing a bond that only sisters can understand. Her good friend Robert Chambers, two nieces and one nephew; Amanda Cutler, Kira and Jareth West and their families also survive.
Lee enjoyed fishing, yard sales, antiques and the scenic drive. She also loved spending time with family and friends, road trips and crossword/jigsaw puzzles. She was a great lover of animals and had several furry companions throughout her life. The loss of Lee leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends. However, her memory will forever be cherished and celebrated. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire and guide us.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Cutler in 2008.
