Lee Creek Jr

Lee Creek, 83, of Alexis passed away Sunday April 24, 2016, at the Knox County Nursing Home Knoxville Il. He was born September 19, 1932 in Goran, MO the son of Lee and Asenithe (Tippet) Creek Sr. He married Dorothy Keith in 1977 and she preceded him in death in 2003.

Lee is survived by his children Wesley A. Creek of Galesburg, IL, Jeffery L. (Audrey) Creek of Galesburg, IL, Roy I. (Dawn) Creek of Galesburg, IL, Lorene Schisler of Abingdon, IL; two

step children, Jo "Pinky" Gibbons of Galesburg, IL and Alice Keith of Galesburg, IL and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers and sisters.

Lee loved country music and enjoyed playing in the bands Moonlighters and New Country. He was also an avid Cubs, Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He worked at Carl Sandburg College and Admirals.

Memorial Visitation will be Thursday April 28, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wise Family Hoover Hall Memorial Chapel in Alexis, IL.
