Larry "Chub" Wenger

Larry “Chub” Wenger 84 of London Mills, IL passed away October 21, 2021, at OSF ST. Francis Medical Center Peoria, Il.  He was born December 12,1936 the son of Samuel and Ethel (Samuels) Wenger.  He married Kay Watkins January 22,196 at the Monterey Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Kay of London Mills. They raised four sons Scott (Lisa) Wenger of Pekin, Rodney Wenger of London Mils, Doug (Debra) Wenger of Fairview, Chris (Sara) Wenger of Canton, Grandchildren Samantha, Jesse, Addie, Kirsten, Johnathon Wesley, Cody, Chase, Ava and great granddaughter Rhyan.  One sister Donna Gilmore.  Special friend Ellen and Brian Donsbach of Lawn Ridge, IL.

Preceded death by parents, two sisters Doris Smith and Marilyn Parker and one brother Clifford Wenger.

Larry worked at International Harvester canton.  He drove a school bus for Spoon River Valley School and was a volunteer for the London Mills Fire and Ambulance Dept.  In his spare time or just anytime he loved to fish.

Graveside Service will be Tuesday October 26, 2021, at 10:00 am at East Midway Cemetery London Mills.  A celebration of life/Fish Fry will be held in the spring.  Memorials may be made to London Mills Fire Dept.
