Kenneth B. Williamson

Kenneth B. Williamson, 70, of Avon, IL passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, 6:45 a.m. at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice House Peoria, IL.  He was born Saturday, September 18, 1948 in Avon, IL the son of Ira L and Phyllis (Myers) Williamson.  He married Julia E. Cook on June 8, 1969 at the E.U.B. Church in London Mills, IL.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Julia of Avon, IL; three daughters, Jamie (Clint) Endres of Canton, IL, Jennifer (Jason) Wasson of East Moline, IL and Katie (Matthew) Beck currently of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, and one son, Kevin of Houston, TX; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; one brother Jerry (Marjorie) Williamson of Ranchester, WY and one sister Deborah Burton of Granite City, IL; three nieces and 1 nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant brother (Gary).

He graduated from Spoon River valley High School and Spoon River College, he also attended Western Illinois University.  Kenny was employed by Butler Manufacturing for 35 years, until he retired in 2005. He was a lifelong diehard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.  He was a member of the London Mills United Methodist Church.
