She was born November 18, 1951, in Avon, IL the daughter of William and Alice Lockwood Howard. She married James D. Martin in 1972 he preceded her in September of 1988; she later married Norman Smiley on February 28, 1998, he preceded her in March of 2014. She is survived by one daughter Coy (Galen) Kitch of Avon, IL and one son James (Penny) Martin of Bushnell, IL; grandchildren Corina Kitch and Abigial Kitch; two brothers Chet Howard of Avon, IL and Bob (Sig) Howard of Wamego, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 2 grandchildren, and 1 sister. Cremation rites have been accorded there are no services. Memorials may be made in her Memory.
