Janet L. Ihrer

Janet L. Ihrer 68, of Avon passed away on October 6 2021 at 9:18 am in her home. She was born on October 18, 1952 in Avon IL the daughter of Raymond and Faye (Schraceo) Bernhart. She married Charles Ihrer III on May 12, 1972 in Abingdon IL.

She is survived by her husband Chuck of Avon, children Crystal (Joel) Pruett of Knoxville Il, Tammy (Mark) Harn of Bushnell, Nichole (James) Ihrer-Suits of Davenport, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Brother Allen Bernhart of Abbyville LA, and 1 sister Tina (Travis) Havens of Bushnell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather George Sittler, and grandson Jacob Pruett.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Janet loved holidays and being able to spend time with her family. She worked at Saunders Hospital. She also worked at ServiceMaster. Janet babysat most of the kids in Avon. One of her favorite things to do would be getting her things set up for the Scenic Drive with her best friend Donna Jebb.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021, 10:00am at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2021, 5:00pm- 7:00pm at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon. Memorials may be made to the Avon Fire Department, or Bushnell Christian Church.
