Hazel Maxine Jones

Hazel Maxine (Stroops) Jones, 93, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away on September 24, 2025 at the Goldwater Care Nursing Home, Roseville. She was born December 23, 1931, in Bardolph, Illinois, the daughter of Glen J & Gladys Fern (Winter) Stroops.

Maxine married Vincent L. Jones on October 12, 1962, and he preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are; sons, Terry (Kathie) Farris, Randy (Adriene) Wickline of Roseville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dave and daughter Judy and brothers, Lee Stroops and Glen Stroops.

Maxine was an avid lover of yardsales and flea markets. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
