Gerald G. “Jerry” Cole 79, of Roseville formerly of Monmouth, IL passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center Roseville, IL. He was born Friday, October 7, 1938 in Roseville, IL the son of James and Bertha (York) Cole. He married Georgia Eack in 1955.
He is survived by his wife of Monmouth, IL; two sons: Phillip Cole of Orlando, FL and Paul Cole of Justin, TX; one daughter: Sheila Brown of Monmouth, IL; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; one brother Charles Cole of Media, IL and one sister-in-law Genny Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and several sisters and brothers.
He was in construction for several years. He did small jobs but retired 14 years ago.
