Frances Ruby "Toots" Hebbeln, 97, of Monmouth, Illinois died at 3:46 A.M. Friday, June 01, 2012 at the Roseville Rehabilitation Center, Roseville, IL.
She was born April 1, 1915 in Mercer County, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Stella (Williams) Greenwood. She was reared and educated in Alexis, graduating from Alexis High School.
Frances married Don B. Hebbeln in Matherville, Illinois on July 1, 1939 and he died in 1982.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to the casino.
Surviving is her son, Don V. (Jo) Hebbeln of Monmouth; 7 grandchildren, Todd (Julie) Hebbeln of St. Louis, Mo, Scott Hebbeln of Monmouth, Randy (Tammy) Hebbeln of Silvis, IL, Kris (Jim) Pierce of Cameron, Sherry (Richard) Peters of Port Byron, IL, Ann (Scott) Lybarger of Galesburg and Erica Rhode of Minnesota, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Betty Frazier and one brother, Cecil Greenwood.
As her wishes, a private family graveside services and burial will be in Alexis Cemetery. There is no family visitation planned. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at hooverhall.com.
