Dean Clark Ryner

Dean Clark Ryner, 87, of Galesburg formerly of Alexis, IL passed away Sunday April 8, 2018, 7:20 a.m. at the Marigold Nursing Home Galesburg, IL.  He was born Friday October 17, 1930 in Monmouth, IL the son of James and Clara (Ranney) Ryner.  He married Pauline Wales in Rock Island, IL in June 5, 1965.

He is survived by his wife Pauline of Galesburg, IL, children Tina (Jack) Winefordner of Peoria, IL, Richard (Lorell) Wales of Sacramento, CA, Robin (Russell) Koerner of Galesburg, IL, Diane (Mark) Reynolds  of Peoria, IL, David A. Ryner of Peoria, IL; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brother, 3 sisters, and infant grandson.

Dean was raised and educated in Alexis, IL.  He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He worked as a truck driver and retired from the Teamsters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday April 10, 2018 1:00 p.m. at the Wise Family Hoover Hall Funeral Home Alexis, IL.  Burial will be in the Alexis Cemetery, Alexis, IL.  Memorials May be made to the Alexis Museum, Knox County Humane Society and/or the Galesburg Rescue Mission.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Hoover Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
