Corene F (Rood) Koller

Corene F. Koller, 93, of Avon, IL passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, 1:49 p.m. at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center Roseville, IL.  She was born Monday, August 3, 1925 in Downing, MO the daughter of Frank and Opal (Phelps) Rood.  She married married Stephen Pittman he preceded her and she later married Leo Max Koller on May 5, 1961, he preceded her on August 6, 2005.

Corene is survived by one daughter Roxann Foreman of St. Petersburg, FL; one grandson Kent Allen (Jenifer) Pittman of Galesburg, IL and one great granddaughter Ashley Pittman of Galesburg, IL; three sisters Melba Onion of Abingdon, IL, Barbara Myers of ARK., and Elaine Johnson of Knoxville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son (Larry Pittman) 2 grandsons and 3 sisters.

Corene farmed with her husband; she was also a bus driver for many years.  She owned and operated Corene’s Upholstery Shop.  She was a member of the Avon Methodist Church and was also a Village of Avon board member.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Avon, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery Abingdon, IL. memorials may be made to the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center.  Please sign the online guest book at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise family Funeral Home Avon, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
