Cecilia C (Ward) Heckethorn

Cecilia Catherine Heckethorn, 78, of Roseville, IL, formerly of Colchester, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born June 3, 1944 in Macomb, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Maxine (Ward) Leighty.

Surviving Cecilia are her children; Thomas (Michelle) Hall of Burlington, IA, David (Tina) Hall of Burlington, IA; sister, Roseann Pulse of Roseville, IL; brother, Duane (Alleyne) Leighty; half-sister, Jan Leighty. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one daughter Lisa Hall.

Cecilia enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books and watching television. She loved listening to country music, especially Mickey Gilley and Alan Jackson.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Wise Family Funeral Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
