Billy C. Anderson

Billy C. Anderson, 89, of Avon, IL passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, 11:05 p.m. at Cottage Hospital Galesburg, IL.  He was born Saturday, March 14, 1931 in St. Augustine, IL the son of Glenn and Maude (truelock) Anderson.

He is survived by one daughter, Debra Masten of Pleasant Plains; two sons, Larry (Sandy) Anderson of St. Augustine and Donny (Keri) Anderson of Avon; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; one brother J.R. Anderson of Avon and one sister, Marjorie Taflinger of Avon; special friend, Vera Harris of Avon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, one brother and one sister.

He was an avid Harley Davidson fan and loved to ride his Harley.  He has lived most of his life in the Abingdon, St. Augustine and Avon community areas.  He retired from 649 Operating Engineers.

Graveside service will be Saturday, October 24, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the Babbitt Cemetery St. Augustine, IL.   Friends may call Friday, October 23, 2020 from 1:00-6:00 p.m., the family will not be present. Memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Fire Dept.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Avon is in charge of the arrangements.
