Alan Ebert, 63, of Peoria, formerly of Roseville, passed away at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Proctor Hospital, Peoria. He was born October 3, 1960, in Plymouth, IL, the son of Floyd Ebert, Jr. and Sylvia Symmonds. He was raised and educated in Biggsville, IL, graduating from Union High School.
Alan married Julie McKay on September 29, 2018 at Mount Hawley Country Club in Peoria and she survives.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife Julie; children, Chris (Sara) Ebert of Raritan and Felicia (Jeremy) Simmons of Smithshire; sisters, Sandra (Tom) Keane, Marcella (Roger) Cisna; brother, Tim (Robin) Ebert. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Alan loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Michigan Wolverines, Nascar, golf and other sporting events. He enjoyed feeding the birds in his back yard. He liked vacationing at the beach in the panhandle area of Florida. He spent a lot of time hanging out with his friends in the shop. He was very handy and willing to help anyone who asked. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, including his grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Private family graveside services will be held in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family and left in the care of the funeral home. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
